Online Information Consultations

One-on-one consultations with the Library's online searching specialists may be arranged by appointment through the Reference Department.

A standard presentation describing Library services, collections, and policies may be requested for newly-arriving SUNY-affiliated groups.  At least 2 weeks advanced notice required.

Curriculum-Related Library Instruction
 

Librarians regularly plan with faculty to customize instruction to meet curricular needs.
Special topics include: literature searching based on thesis/term paper topics; locating
and evaluating Internet resources for health sciences research; using government
documents (census, vital statistics, etc); MEDLINE for medical students; and
information literacy for Residents.
